“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. 8 They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

ABOUT US
The Jordan Project was founded on November 2, 2018 as a prayer and giving ministry. It is our mission to be in service to the least of them. At some point in all our lives, we were the least of them. (Matthew 25:40) Shortly after launching the ministry the founder, Michael was invited to a basketball game to cheer on teen girls who were from a local resident treatment center. Noticing that the girls had no parents, snacks, drinks, or food like the other teams the need was more than apparent. He told the coach, “I have this little ministry, it’s me & Jesus”. Stepping out on faith as he was unemployed, he offered to provide drinks and snacks for the rest of the season. Knowing the Lord would multiply his portion like the loafs and the fish he became the snack guy, Mr. Michael. Upon completion of the season he was determined to grow the ministry and come along side these amazing young ladies anyway he could. With the Lord’s favor the ministry became a 501(c)3 nonprofit ministry on June 3, 2019. Over the last 5 years the ministry has grown with the help of its board of directors, friends, family, and church community. Along our journey with these children we made a conscious decision as a ministry that our lane would be to service orphans in the CPS system. To remind them that they were, “fearfully & wonderfully made”. “Chosen not forgotten”. To show them the Love of Christ that has been shown to us.
